The Supervisor is supported by management to be responsible for overall daily supervision of program staff and services. This role supports our Community Support Programs, specifically programs providing wraparound support services to seniors, youth outreach services, counselling services, and system intake and navigation services. Duties such as creating and managing schedules, monitoring service quality and performance, supporting staff safety, development, engagement and endearment will comprise much of the daily routine. This is an integrated leadership position expected to be present among service staff in the service environment(s).

- A starting salary range of $60,000 – $65,000 annually based on experience, with potential to progress to $70,000 through successful years of service.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of postsecondary education in social services or related health care discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community, health and/or social services working with highly vulnerable people
- Experience in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with community partners, professional peers, and supporting leaders
- Knowledge of local community-based services and resources
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds with an inclusive and anti-oppressive lens
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, including the use of Office 365 products.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience successfully supervising multiple teams, or staff in varying environments
- Awareness and understanding of the social determinants of health
- Awareness and understanding of Ontario Employment legislation as it pertains to supervisor responsibilities
- Ability to lead within a social justice, trauma and violence informed, and harm reduction value base
- French and other language skills are considered an asset in supporting the communities we serve
