Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects in the oil & gas and energy industries. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless delivery of projects by managing resources, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Coordinate all aspects of project execution, including design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, and field construction.
    • Monitor progress and ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  2. Team Leadership and Coordination:
    • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
    • Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams.
    • Facilitate communication among all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are clearly understood and met.
    • Provide regular updates and maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Risk and Issue Management:
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Address challenges and provide effective solutions to ensure project continuity.
  5. Quality and Safety Assurance:
    • Ensure compliance with all industry standards, company policies, and client requirements.
    • Promote a culture of safety and quality across all project phases.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.
    • Provide post-project evaluations and lessons learned to improve future processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the oil & gas, energy, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is an asset.
