Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate all aspects of project execution, including design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, and field construction.
- Monitor progress and ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams.
- Facilitate communication among all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are clearly understood and met.
- Provide regular updates and maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address challenges and provide effective solutions to ensure project continuity.
- Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with all industry standards, company policies, and client requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality across all project phases.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.
- Provide post-project evaluations and lessons learned to improve future processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the oil & gas, energy, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders effectively.
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is an asset.
